Toto Wolff: We can challenge

      Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff believes that it is necessary to focus on McLaren – Woking has made significant progress in refining the car and won the Constructors' Cup. This approach is bearing fruit – this year, after six Grands Prix, Mercedes confidently takes second place in the Constructors' Cup, earning 141 points – this is the best start to the season for the team since 2021.

      Toto Wolff: "By focusing on refining the mechanics, you can get a serious advantage. Two years ago, the McLaren team presented their new products in Austria, which worked much better than they expected, and since then the vector of progress has been determined for them by proper work with tires.

      It is important for us to understand what we should focus on when refining the machine, what are the main factors affecting its efficiency, and whether we have reached the maximum in them. We are working hard on this and have already achieved some success. We continue to experiment and we will be able to challenge, I have no doubt about it."
