Fernando Alonso mourns Fabrizio Borra
Fernando Alonso is grieving for Fabrizio Borra, who has been his personal trainer and physiotherapist for many years.
Their collaboration began back in 2001, when Alonso made his Formula 1 debut with Minardi. Borra then worked with Fernando at Renault, McLaren, Ferrari, Alpine and Aston Martin. He was 64 years old.
Paying tribute to the memory of someone close to him, Alonso posted on social media the following words: "Fabri, I will miss you. Every day. Thank you for everything you've taught me, for making me a better person and athlete.
I've spent my entire career with you, and I think that was my greatest success. Rest in peace, brother."
