Hamilton: I've always enjoyed winning back in the race.

      At Imola, Lewis Hamilton achieved the best result in this season's races and recalled winning the Chinese sprint when the car felt similar with a small amount of fuel.

      Lewis Hamilton: "There are a lot of positive aspects. Great strategy, right decisions during the race – we didn't make a single mistake, the car behaved like in China, where I felt it for the first time, and it was as if we were one. We found the optimal settings, won back the race and demonstrated our potential. If we could have qualified higher on Saturday, we could have competed for the podium.

      It wasn't the best start, I was behind Antonelli and I was waiting for the right moment to take the lead. I had to be patient, but the strategy began to bear fruit, and the car seemed to come to life on Medium tires. I've always enjoyed bouncing back during the race, like at the Rye House cart track where I started – it's much more enjoyable than starting and finishing first."
