Isaac Hajjar: The team can be proud of this result

Isaac Hajjar finished seventh at the Spanish Grand Prix and scored points for the third time in a row. This result allowed Racing Bulls to beat Haas in the fight for sixth place in the Constructors' Championship. Liam Lawson didn't score any points in Barcelona.

Isaac Hajjar (7th): "I'm really happy with today's race. We performed strongly, almost perfectly. The whole team can be proud of this result. I really enjoyed the first leg, but it's still a pity that Nico Hulkenberg managed to overtake me at the end.

Our strategy was perfect, the pace on the Medium tyres was high – all this helped in the fight in the middle of the peloton. The team chose the right moment to switch to Soft, and I feel more and more confident driving. This allows you to attack at the limit in every race.

The team is definitely moving in the right direction. I couldn't have dreamed of a more successful series, as I earned points in every race. I look forward to continuing this series in Canada."

Liam Lawson (11th): "I had a very strong race. Even though I spent a lot of time in traffic, I had the speed to overtake my rivals, so it all worked out.

I didn't finish in the position where I could have finished the race, because I didn't have half a second to enter the pit lane under the safety car, and those who finished higher were in the pits. It's disappointing to finish one step away from the points after all the hard work we've done.

Right now, all thoughts are on the upcoming stage in Canada, where we will try to repeat the high race pace. Our goal remains the same – to earn points."
