Formula 2 condemned insults in social networks
On Thursday evening, Formula 2 released a statement condemning the insults on social media against the drivers and teams.
"On behalf of the teams and drivers competing in Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 3 and the FIA, as part of the Together Against Online Insults campaign, we strongly condemn any form of insults and threats," Formula 2 said in a statement. "We will continue to act together and report any insults on social media.
Regardless of whether you are a fan or part of the motorsport world, we are all driven by passion, and people are at the core of everything. We urge everyone to respect the athletes and their teams."
There was no explanation of what exactly the publication of such a statement was related to, but apparently, we are talking about Alex Dunn. The Rodin Motorsport racer, who competes in Formula 2, said that he received a huge amount of insults and threats on social media after he caused a massive blockage during the race in Monaco.
