A documentary about Damon Hill will be released in July.
Next month, British TV channel Sky Sports F1 will air a new documentary dedicated to the career of 1996 world champion Damon Hill. The premiere is scheduled for July 2, the picture has received the laconic name "Hill".
Damon Hill: "This film is a very personal account of my life and career in Formula 1. He reveals my true motivation for success and how the death of my father, Graham Hill, affected me.
This is a story about trying to win a championship title, racing against the strongest rivals in an extremely uncompromising world, the tension that was in my family, and how I tried to maintain a life balance amid chaos and stress.
I know I'm biased, but I think you'll enjoy the movie, regardless of whether you're a Formula 1 fan or just looking for a great uplifting movie to watch.
I'm really proud of how the film turned out. I think it's a real gem."
The upcoming premiere will be Damon Hill's first appearance on Sky Sports since last year's decision by the channel's management to dismiss the former racer from his position as a commentator and expert.
