Carlos Sainz: I hope we have a successful weekend ahead of us.
The Williams team did not earn points at the last stage in Barcelona, but Alex Elbon and Carlos Sainz plan to return to the top ten at the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend.
Alex Albon: "Racing in Canada opens up a lot of opportunities, and I have fond memories of overtaking on this track last year. The weather can be changeable, but this year we performed well in all conditions, so we will try to turn the situation in our favor.
The whole series of stages didn't go the way we wanted, so the team is determined to get back into the fight in Montreal."
Carlos Sainz: "Despite the stressful few weeks and the structured series of stages that ended in Barcelona, followed by the demonstration races in Madrid last Saturday, I feel rested. I hope we have a successful weekend in Canada.
It's interesting to drive on this track and there are many overtaking opportunities. I wonder how fast the FW47 will be on this track.
Unpredictable weather usually plays a significant role in Montreal, so we will try to make the most of all opportunities and give our best this weekend."
