Racing Bulls don't want to let Hajjar go to Red Bull

We have already said that if Max Verstappen is disqualified for one stage, then one of the Racing Bulls drivers, Isaac Hajjar or Liam Lawson, will hold the Grand Prix at the wheel of Red Bull Racing instead.

However, Peter Bayer, the executive director of the Faenza team, does not want to let Hajjar go. Moreover, Racing Bulls does not want Isaac to move to the senior team not only for one stage this year, but also next season as Verstappen's permanent team-mate.

"I really ask that this talented guy is not taken away from us too early," the Swiss newspaper Blick quoted Bayer as saying. "He should continue to learn and gain experience from us until the end of 2026."

Then, jokingly, Peter Bayer added: "We might have to handcuff him to do that."
