Formula E: There will be 18 stages in the series calendar in 2026

Formula E and the FIA have published a preliminary version of the calendar for the 2025-2026 season, approved by the World Motorsport Council. The 12th season of the World Electric Car Racing Championship is the longest in the history of the series, with 18 stages in 12 cities around the world.

The season starts on December 6 in Sao Paulo, followed shortly after the New Year by a race in Mexico City, and on the last day of January, the Formula E stage will be held for the first time at the Miami International Circuit, familiar to Formula 1 fans.

Continuing the theme of innovation, it should be noted that the first ever Formula E race in the Spanish capital is scheduled for March 21, and the historic Circuit de Madrid-Jarama has been chosen as the venue.

The two phases, which are expected to take place at the end of May and in June, are still awaiting official confirmation, but negotiations are already in the final stages.

The season will traditionally end with two stages in London.

Jeff Dodds, Executive Director of Formula E: "This calendar is a combination of races on very interesting new tracks with existing stages, and at the moment it can be considered the most intense.…

The upcoming debut in Madrid and the increase in the total number of races demonstrate our intention to continue developing the series in key markets, while the stage at Miami International Circuit takes our presence in the United States to a new level.

We see that the global audience of Formula E continues to grow year by year, and with this calendar, our drivers and teams are sure to show fans an even more exciting racing show."
