Wolff is due record dividends from Mercedes

Wolff is due record dividends from Mercedes

We told you a couple of days ago that the Mercedes team reported record profits. But the official press release did not mention that Toto Wolff is owed more than a substantial financial reward as a shareholder who owns a third of the team's shares along with the Mercedes-Benz concerns and the British INEOS corporation.

Forbes estimates the fortune of the Mercedes team leader at 1.3 billion pounds, and, of course, when the team reports impressive financial success, he is entitled to dividends of appropriate amounts.

Wolff acquired a stake in the team back in 2013, his investment was estimated at 37 million pounds, and it turned out to be more than a successful investment. However, it is believed that money is far from the main motivator for him, and at one time he stated in an interview with Forbes literally the following:

"I am ready to give up every penny of my income for the sake of victory. In general, if you choose between success in business and success in sports, I definitely choose sports.

" However, even before his career in Formula 1 began, Toto Wolff was a very successful entrepreneur, he received the basic capital thanks to his two investment companies – Marchfifteenth and Marchsixteenth. In 2009, he invested the funds he received through successful investment projects in Williams shares and joined the board of directors of the British team, and in 2012 he joined Mercedes.

Finally, it remains to quote the final line from the text in the British tabloid Express: "As they say, the rest is history."
