Formula E: Vesti and Crawford to test with Andretti

      The Andretti Global team invited Dane Frederik Vesti, reserve driver of Mercedes-AMG F1, and American Jack Crawford, who plays for DAMS in Formula 2 and has already won two victories this year, to the Berlin youth tests.

      Vesti, who combines working as a third Mercedes driver with participating in endurance races behind the wheel of a Cadillac hypercar, already has some experience piloting Formula E electric vehicles, gained last year, and also at the novice tests in Berlin. But then he collaborated with the Indian Mahindra team.

      This time he will pilot the Andretti car (by the way, this is a Porsche 99X Electric) in turn with Crawford, who actually serves as the reserve driver of this team and has already held training in Jeddah this year.

      Frederick Vesti: "I am very happy and proud to take part in the upcoming tests. Last year, I worked for one day on the same tests in Berlin and got a good experience driving a Formula E car, but now that I have become more experienced, I have a very interesting day ahead of me, because with the support of Andretti, I will be able to learn a completely new GEN3 Evo generation technique.

      Also, of course, I will get to know this team. I'll work with the engineers, and hopefully I can be useful to the team."

      Jack Crawford: "I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel, because it seems to me that I trained in Jeddah not so long ago, so I'm glad that I will continue to cooperate with this team.

      A year ago, I enjoyed working with Andretti at the novice tests in Berlin, and I think I did a good job then, and now I'll get the opportunity to do some more laps."
