Gianpiero Lambiase will skip the stage
Max Verstappen's racing engineer Gianpiero Lambiase will miss the Austrian Grand Prix for personal reasons. For the first time in his career in Formula 1, Max will stage with another racing engineer.
Lambiase will be temporarily replaced by Simon Rennie, an experienced engineer who previously worked with Daniel Ricciardo. After Ricciardo's departure at the end of 2018, Rennie worked at the base and has now returned to the racing team as Verstappen's race engineer.
