Sainz will not leave for Red Bull when a vacancy appears.

Carlos Sainz will continue racing for Williams next season even if a vacancy becomes available at Red Bull Racing after Max Verstappen's possible departure. The Spanish driver shared this during a press conference at Silverstone.

Carlos Sainz: "First of all, all these discussions are more like rumors. I don't know how much of them are true.

Williams knows that I will be with them for the next two years and possibly longer, depending on the situation. I believe in the trajectory our team is currently on, and I am fully confident in my choice."

Commenting on the team's progress this season, Carlos said: "For me, speed has always been the top priority, and we have it. I see a lot of good things in this year's car, and frankly, my expectations of what Williams can achieve in 2025 have already been exceeded.

I insist that if we put all the pieces together every weekend, my teammate and I will be ranked eighth and ninth or seventh and eighth in the standings, and we will be ahead of others. However, we are not yet able to perform like that every weekend, but I am not worried because all team members are working together to solve problems. Over the past races, we've had ups and downs, but I am confident in the trajectory the team is following."
