Jack Duane – another candidate for a position at Cadillac
The list of potential contenders for a spot on the new Cadillac team continues to grow. Now, Australian Jack Duwan has been added to the list.
According to PlanetF1, negotiations took place at Silverstone between Mick Duwan, the driver’s father and manager, and team principal Graeme Lowdon. Prior to that, the parties met at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Currently, Jack Duwan is an Alpine reserve driver. The Australian began the season with the Estone team, but after the Miami race, he was replaced by Franco Colapinto.
It is believed that Cadillac plans to invite an experienced and a young driver for the next season. In the first case, Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez are contenders for the position, while the second list is somewhat longer. Besides Duwan, Mick Schumacher and Gyeon-yu Zhou are also considered for a contract with Cadillac.
