Ferrari plans to extend Vasseur's contract for a year.

The contract of Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur expires at the end of the season, and neither party has made an official statement regarding the extension of the agreement. This fact, along with Scuderia's inconspicuous start to the season, has led to numerous rumors that Ferrari may not renew Vasseur's contract.

However, according to the Italian magazine Autosprint, Ferrari's top management has already made a decision – Frederic Vasseur's contract will be extended at least until 2026.

Considering the change in technical regulations, the transition to new cars, and the next generation of hybrid power units, Ferrari decided not to change the team leader at such a critical moment in order to avoid introducing an additional variable into the work.

The deadline for officially announcing the contract extension with Frederic Vasseur has not been specified, but a statement is expected during the race weekend in Monza in early September.
