The Formula 1 Commission met in London.

      On July 22, the third meeting of the Formula 1 Commission for this year took place at the FOM office in London, during which no critical decisions were made. It was chaired by FIA Director for Single-Seaters Nicolas Thombasis and Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali.

      The following topics were discussed:

      FIA informed teams about the progress of developing technical, sporting, and operational regulations for 2026.

      At the suggestion of some teams, it was decided to assess the deposit fee amounts for submitting protests, appeals, and rights to review decisions, with the aim of adjusting them. The introduction of a fee for conducting investigations was also discussed.

      Formula 1 management provided the Commission with information on the sport's growth and development. The global fan base reached 827 million, an increase of over 10% compared to the previous year, including 52 million in the USA, an 11% rise.

      Formula 1 fans continue to get younger: 43% of the audience are under 35 years old, with 42% of these being women. The number of social media followers is growing, reaching 106 million compared to 18 million in 2018, with an increase also observed in television audiences.

      A positive impact was noted from the F1 movie, which demonstrated success in its initial weeks of release and contributed to attracting new fans.

      Discussions included the addition of new partners to Formula 1, extension of contracts with existing and long-term partners, including several contracts for hosting Grands Prix.
