      McLaren

      The McLaren lineup will remain unchanged next year. At the start of the season, the team extended Oskar Piastri's contract for several years. Lando Norris's current contract also extends for a few more seasons. McLaren officially does not disclose contract durations with drivers, referring to them as “multi-year” agreements.

      Contracts for George Russell and Kimi Antonelli expire at the end of the year. The British driver hopes to continue the collaboration, but neither side has signed a new agreement yet. Rumors suggest that Mercedes chief Toto Wolff was planning to negotiate a move for Max Verstappen, which is why he was slow to renew.

      However, according to Toto’s recent statement, the Mercedes lineup will remain unchanged in 2026. No official confirmations have been made by the team so far.

      Red Bull

      Max Verstappen's contract with Red Bull Racing extends until the end of 2028. However, such a long term does not prevent the racing community from discussing a possible switch of the four-time world champion to Mercedes.       The situation with Verstappen’s teammate raises even more questions. After the first two races of the season, the team replaced Liam Lawson with Yuki Tsunoda, but this change hardly affected results. Helmut Marko has promised that the Japanese driver will complete the season, but he is unlikely to remain with the team in 2026.

      The most likely candidate to replace Yuki Tsunoda is Isaac Hajar, but there is also a possibility that Liam Lawson will return to the team.

      Williams
