Esteban Ocon: Let's not rush to conclusions.

Both Haas F1 drivers made it to the sprint qualifying final in Spa...

Esteban Ocon (5th): "It was fantastic, I am happy! Congratulations to the team! We had two weeks to figure out what went wrong at Silverstone, where the updates worked but handling the car was difficult. Today we made adjustments, and the car's behavior changed.

I'm glad that today, for the first time this year, we reached the final qualifying with two cars. But this is only sprint qualifying, so let's not jump to conclusions and try to repeat this result tomorrow."

Oliver Berman (7th): "In practice, there was a choice – run with Hard and Soft tires or with Medium and Soft. I chose Medium, an additional step of hardness between C1 and C3, which at least for me could have made preparing for qualifying much more complicated.

During the free runs, I liked the car's handling; I couldn't set a lap on Soft, but I knew the car was fast.

I am very pleased with the result and happy for the team – we advanced to the final with two cars. The updates tested at Silverstone are working here as well, and we need to continue in the same spirit."
