On Friday in Spa, engine components were changed for four drivers. Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, and Lance Stroll received a new internal combustion engine, turbocharger, and MGU-H and MGU-K motor-generators. Additionally, Oscar Piastri was fitted with a new energy store and electronic control unit. Gabriel Bortoleto also received a new electronic control unit. All replacements were within permitted limits, so no drivers were penalized.
