      Oscar Piastri started from pole in the sprint, but on the first lap, just before the fifth corner, Max Verstappen overtook the McLaren driver and maintained the lead until the finish. After the sprint, Oscar said that he lacked the straight-line speed to mount a counterattack.

      Oscar Piastri: "I tried to do my best on the straights, and at the start, to prevent Max from slipstreaming. But we didn't have enough top speed, and then I couldn't do anything on the next fifteen laps.

      Nevertheless, second place is still a good result, and I scored some decent points. It's only a sprint – the main points will be contested tomorrow, so I’m happy. Although I’m a bit disappointed that I couldn’t overtake Max.

      A good question is what setup to choose for the race. The forecast predicts quite bad weather, so probably we shouldn’t loosen the rear wing too much. But at the same time, I don’t want a repeat of the sprint situation. We’ll study everything and see what can be done."
