Pierre Gasly: Only visibility issues

Alpine F1 driver Pierre Gasly calmly waits for the postponed start of the Belgian Grand Prix, believing that the challenging weather conditions will contribute to an exciting battle on the track.

Pierre Gasly: "I just hope we can start soon because I am concerned for the fans, as we remember situations where they had to wait a very long time for the race to begin. However, I am confident that in about 15-20 minutes we will be able to start.

The problems are mainly with visibility, especially at Eau Rouge and along the section up to Turn 5. But as soon as the conditions allow, the race will start when the asphalt is still wet, promising an interesting race. It’s quite possible that closer to the finish, the track will have dried out.

Of course, the conditions are quite tough at the moment, but I am prepared to race as aggressively as possible. We are starting from P13, and I really hope we can make it into the top ten."
