George Russell: I am very glad to be back on the podium.

George Russell finished third in Hungary, overtaking Charles Leclerc in a tight battle on the track. The Ferrari driver was even penalized with a five-second time penalty for shifting under braking in front of George.

Kimi Anttonelli extended Mercedes' success and finished tenth, earning his first point since his podium in Canada.

George Russell (3rd): "I'm very pleased with today's race. The qualifying results were surprising, but the whole weekend turned out to be somewhat unexpected for everyone. I'm very happy to return to the podium.

There were a few risky moments in the fight with Charles. When you dive into a corner and the driver in front starts to shift, there's hardly any space left for maneuvering. It seemed to me that our cars touched on the second attempt. I'm glad I managed to overtake him.

A good result before the summer break. The result is definitely better than in previous races."

Kimi Anttonelli (10th): "The final segment was very long. I had the feeling it would never end! I drove almost 50 laps on hard tires, and towards the finish, I barely kept the car in the final turn and defended in the first. The competitors behind had better grip on the track, but I managed to keep them behind.

It's good to earn a points-paying position, as the car had good speed on an empty track. If I can start from higher positions after the summer break, I'll fight for more serious points every weekend.

I'm pleased that confidence in the car returned to me during this weekend. I leave Budapest feeling much more confident after we switched back to the rear suspension of the previous version.

It's a pity that yesterday's qualifying went like that, because the car had the pace. I'll keep these feelings for the second half of the season, which I now look forward to with optimism."
