Sthainer criticized Hamilton for his words about uselessness.

After the Hungary Grand Prix qualification, Lewis Hamilton, who posted the twelfth time, called himself "useless." Such words did not sit well with Günther Steiner. In the latest episode of the Red Flags podcast, the former Haas team principal criticized the Ferrari driver and urged him to work harder.

"How can you call yourself useless when you're a seven-time world champion?” Steiner wondered. “It's not about his results; they don't concern me. He has problems, but we all face problems in life. I have problems too, but I don't say, 'Oh, you know, I am useless.'"

It's the wrong approach. I don't like the attitude of giving up and waiting for others to pity you. If I were a seven-time world champion, I would be confident enough to understand that I am not useless. You just need to work harder and return to your previous form.

A few weeks ago, Hamilton was sitting with engineers and telling them what to do with the car, and now he's going to the cameras and saying, "I am useless."

You need to focus on what you're good at — driving a racing car. Lewis is really good at that because he’s a seven-time world champion.
