Ayo Komatsu: The goal is to immediately gain momentum.
The Haas F1 team is preparing for the upcoming Dutch Grand Prix: Esteban Ocon has raced four times at the Zandvoort circuit and scored points on two occasions, while Oliver Bearman has so far only competed there in junior series and will pilot a Formula 1 car for the first time.
Aio Komatsu, team principal: "After two weeks of the summer break we are ready to return to the racetrack, especially since it's Zandvoort, which has a unique atmosphere and very passionate fans. Before the break I felt that in some races we didn't achieve the results we should have shown, but now the team has had a good rest and recharged. The task now is to get up to speed immediately and make the most of every opportunity, as the competition is becoming fiercer than ever."
Oliver Bearman: "I'm very happy to get back to work on track, as the summer break lasted quite a while, and now I'm truly motivated and determined to have a strong second half of the season. It begins with the round at Zandvoort, where the lap is very short with a large number of difficult corners, including cambered ones, which only makes the task harder. I'm really keen to see what our car is capable of at this track. I hope the VF-25 will deliver a good balance and allow us to fight for points this weekend."
Esteban Ocon: "It's great to have had the chance to rest and relax, and I had a wonderful time with friends and family. It's always important for everyone to take a break from work to recharge ahead of such an intense second part of the season. But now we're ready to get back to racing! On the eve of the first race after the break everyone is in good spirits, as the Zandvoort round is distinguished by a great atmosphere. The Netherlands is a wonderful country, and competing in front of passionate Dutch fans always promises an unforgettable experience. Overtaking opportunities on this track are quite limited, so it's important to be as focused as possible in qualifying. We know that in the first half of the season we lacked consistency, so we're determined to work hard to make the most of this weekend and extract everything from the car. I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel!"
