Max Verstappen: The weather will make the task more difficult in Zandvoort.
Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda return to the track in good spirits after the summer break. The Red Bull Racing drivers expect that rainy weather in Zandvoort will make the upcoming race weekend unpredictable.
Max Verstappen: "The summer break was great — I rested and spent time with family and friends. It was wonderful to recharge, and now we're heading to Zandvoort for the first race after the break.
The home race is always special for me. There's an amazing atmosphere here, and the team always gets incredible support. It's great to see a sea of orange in the stands during the race, and I'm really looking forward to it again. In honor of that I'll be wearing an orange helmet with a lion, a special cap and racing boots.
Zandvoort is an old-school circuit with a unique layout and lots of fast corners. It will be a tough race, and the weather, it seems, will make our task even harder. We'll see how it all goes."
Yuki Tsunoda: "I'm going into the upcoming round rested and ready to race. I had a very good summer break — I rested, spent time with friends, tried delicious food and, most importantly, trained a lot. That means I'm strong mentally and physically heading into the second half of the season.
The weekend at Zandvoort will be tough for everyone. The weather at this circuit always throws up challenges, and it looks like it'll be rainy again this time. This, combined with the wind, can make things on track unpredictable, but we'll work hard to deliver a confident and consistent weekend.
This will be the first time I'm Max's teammate at his home race, and I think the fans will give Red Bull incredible support. We're in for a fun weekend!"
