Mercedes has completed the modernization of the W16.
On the eve of the Dutch Grand Prix, Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff spoke about the objectives facing the team in Zandvoort and confirmed that the team has completed the upgrade of the current car, the W16.
Toto Wolff: "We are ready to return to the track this weekend in Zandvoort. Not only is the final stage of the season beginning, but also the closing stage of the current regulations era. We intend to finish the season strongly.
There are ten intense races ahead in which we will continue to fight for second place in the Constructors' Championship, while at the same time focusing on preparations for 2026. The team will no longer make major changes to the current car's design; however, the progress made in Hungary has given us a good platform for further work.
We are pleased to see Dorian Pin back on track this weekend in F1 Academy. She leads the drivers' standings, and we will support her in the fight for the title over the final three rounds."
