Max Verstappen: I'm satisfied with third place

Max Verstappen was the "best of the rest" in qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix, setting the third-fastest time. The Red Bull Racing driver is happy with the result, but preferred not to talk about fighting for victory with the McLaren drivers on Sunday.

For Yuki Tsunoda the fight ended in the second session, in which the Japanese driver set the twelfth-fastest time.

Max Verstappen (3rd): "The weekend has been tough for our team, but in qualifying the car handled better than in the previous sessions. To be honest, I'm very pleased with third on the grid. The support from the fans has been amazing throughout the weekend, and it's nice to see so much orange in the stands. We'll see what we can do in tomorrow's race. The McLaren drivers have been very quick throughout the weekend, so we need to focus on our own performance. We made a good step forward today, and I hope we can maintain this pace in tomorrow's race."

Yuki Tsunoda (12th): "In the first qualifying session I was happy with the car and could attack at the limit. Today I gave it my all and I'm satisfied with my laps, but I don't know why the car lacked pace in the second session. In the race I'll do everything I can to score points. I'm not starting that far from the top ten, anything can happen, so there's a chance."
