40 minutes to the start: Lewis Hamilton's commentary
Lewis Hamilton starts seventh at Zandvoort and hopes for rain…
Lewis Hamilton: “I’d like to start by saying that every year at this circuit the grandstands are packed to the rafters, the crowd here is fantastic — the Dutch love their race, love coming to Zandvoort, and always create a wonderful atmosphere.
But it’s very difficult to overtake on this track, so qualifying results are very important. I’m glad I’m at least starting from seventh, because in the previous two seasons I started this race from outside the top ten.
The strong wind adds extra complications, and I’m also looking at the sky: where’s the rain? I hope it starts at some stage of the race — that would be great!”
