Berman will start from the pit lane for a power unit change.
Elements of the power unit were replaced on Oliver Bearman's car before the start of the Dutch Grand Prix. The Haas driver received his fifth internal combustion engine of the four permitted for the season, his fifth of the four permitted turbochargers, his fifth MGU-H and fifth MGU-K of the four permitted for the season, his third electronic control unit of the two permitted, and his sixth of the eight exhaust systems permitted for the season. The "parc fermé" rules were breached to carry out the changes, so Oliver Bearman will start from the pit lane. Given Bearman's 19th place in qualifying, it cannot be ruled out that Haas made a tactical power unit change ahead of Monza to expand the pool of engines available to him.
