Red Bull Racing team principal Laurent Mekies said in Monza that there will be no changes to the team's lineup this year — Yuki Tsunoda will see the season through, and no decision has yet been made regarding the 2026 lineup.
Laurent Mekies: "The team's lineup will not change this year. We have time to make decisions about the drivers, and there are enough candidates to cover many scenarios for next year.
Yuki has made good progress over the last three races. We want more, but he's doing well. In Zandvoort he scored points after the break, in Budapest he was close to Max, and in Spa he achieved his best qualifying result with the team — the momentum is positive.
It's also pleasing to see Isaac's progress with Racing Bulls; he is performing at a very high level right now. We have no reason to be worried about the drivers. All the cards are on Red Bull's side; we need a few more weeks or months to make a decision.
That doesn't mean we should wait until the last race to decide everything; we understand that this may affect our drivers one way or another, but right now we have time."
