Fernando Alonso: "In qualifying the car was fast, but today we are preparing for a tough race. We'll see if we can score points.
The team expected more from this season, but at the start of the year we found that the car lacked pace and decided to use this season as preparation for 2026. Nevertheless, we continue to fight every weekend, take opportunities when they arise, and enjoy what we do.
Today it will be difficult to overtake Gabriel Bortoleto, as his car is faster. My only chance will probably be on the first lap. I'll be happy if both he and I can make up positions, and even if I finish behind him, I'll accept that result."
