Alex Albon: Verstappen can't stop racing
Alex Albon, at a press meeting in Baku, said that he flew to the capital of Azerbaijan on Max Verstappen's private plane. On the way, the Williams driver asked the reigning world champion about his performance last weekend in the four-hour race at the Nürburgring behind the wheel of a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS.
Alex Albon: "I flew with Max on the same plane, and on the way to Baku we had a good chat [about his performance at the Nürburgring]. He likes GT racing. You can definitely say that he enjoys it more than I do. Max just likes to race, and it's fun to talk about it with him because you can see his passion.
That partly sets Max apart from everyone else. He just can't stop racing. He enjoys it, and he puts a lot of effort into it."
