      Fernando Alonso (11th): "Qualifying went a little better than we expected. Because of the red and yellow flags we couldn't complete all the fast laps we were counting on. We gambled on the Medium tyres, but at the end of the day it's hard to say which compound worked better.

      The wind made things difficult on track, so conditions differed on every lap. Tomorrow is forecast to be windy too, we'll see how it goes."

      Lance Stroll (14th): "The first part of qualifying went well, but in the second I only managed a couple of clean laps, and on each of them the wind changed direction.

      Conditions were tricky, the car could unexpectedly lose downforce at any moment. Tomorrow I start 14th, we'll see what I can do."
