Formula 2: Kin Shields will remain with AIX Racing in 2026.
AIX Racing, competing in Formula 2 under the flag of the United Arab Emirates, announced the extension of its contract with British driver Kin Shields for another season.
He made his debut in the series in 2025 and did not make much of an impression, unlike Joshua Durksen, his Paraguayan teammate, who began the season with a win at Albert Park. But the team knows best; it may have its own considerations. Kin’s best result remains 11th place in the Sunday race in Imola; he has not scored any points yet and sits last, 22nd, in the rookie championship.
Kin Shields: “I’m happy to continue working with AIX Racing and to remain in Formula 2 for another season. This year I had some difficulties, but I learned a lot of lessons and feel ready to return stronger.
Together with the team we are gaining experience, and I’m confident we can take a big step forward and fight for the results we want to achieve.”
