F3: Michael Shin signed a contract with Hitech
Formula 3 team Hitech TGR has announced the signing of Michael Shin for the 2026 season.
The Korean driver previously raced in Formula 3 in 2023, taking part in six races, and is set to contest a full season the following year. In 2025 Michael is competing in the European Formula Open, and with one round remaining he sits second in the drivers' standings, having claimed four wins. In addition, this year Shin contested one round of British Formula 3 and reached the podium.
Michael Shin: "I am glad to return to Hitech TGR and to compete in my first full season in Formula 3. Over the two years I was not working with the team, both they and I have made progress, so the upcoming reunion feels perfect.
I look forward to getting to work in testing after the season ends and laying the groundwork for a strong debut in Melbourne."
