Esteban Ocon: "On Friday the updates will be fitted to my car, I'll try them in practice — we'll compare the data with the other car, check that everything is okay, and decide what to put on both cars.
It's a big step forward for the whole team, our engineers keep finding something new even though these regulations have been in place for a long time. Now finding opportunities to gain performance is much harder than before, but I hope it will work out and we'll be able to score points more often.
The updates should solve some problems characteristic of our car and provide better balance. When we fitted updates to the car last time in Silverstone, everything worked great. I hope it will be the same now — and we'll take another step forward. I'd like to get more grip from the track, but we'll see."
