      Red Bull Racing has confirmed that this weekend Yuki Tsunoda will get a fresh version of the front wing that Max Verstappen has been using since the Singapore Grand Prix.

      The front wing Tsunoda has used up until now was, according to Yuki, "three generations older" — it had been on Verstappen's car in Silverstone, and since then the versions have changed twice more.

      According to the Japanese press, the ride height of Verstappen's heavily revised car is lower than Tsunoda's, so the new wings simply did not fit it by design, but engineers have now found a solution.

      The team said Max currently has enough spare parts, and the Mexico round will be held with three practice sessions during which everything can be properly dialed in.

      The team needed Tsunoda's help in the fight with McLaren; they are making his car faster. In Mexico Tsunoda will be piloting a car with almost the same characteristics as Verstappen's. What result does the team expect from him? "At most, he'll cut the gap to three tenths of a second. I'll be surprised if he gets any closer," said one of the engineers.
