Stella: From a technical point of view, we're in for a tough race.

McLaren admit that it will be very tough in Las Vegas, but all the more important to work with maximum focus every day of the weekend and to try to take every opportunity to deliver a strong result.

Lando Norris: “Las Vegas ahead! Driving on this street circuit is a wonderfully interesting experience, and I’m already looking forward to meeting the American fans – the last one this year. Together with the team I have been preparing intensively for the remaining three races of the season at the McLaren Technology Centre. We arrive in Las Vegas after two rounds in Mexico and Brazil, where we had to work hard, but we scored quite a few points.

In the past we’ve had difficulties at the Las Vegas circuit, but that doesn’t mean we won’t try to do everything we can to extract the maximum speed the car is capable of. I’m in a great mood, highly motivated and ready for this final push.”

Oscar Piastri: “I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel in Las Vegas. I’m fully focused on my job, I’ll try to show good pace and perform confidently this weekend, which will require taking every opportunity.

It’s a very fast circuit; racing there is always fun. Cool weather is expected, which presents interesting challenges, and the street circuit’s configuration is such that there are usually a lot of overtakes.”

Andrea Stella, team principal: “We have reached the final phase of the season; this three-race stretch will start in Las Vegas, then we’ll head to Qatar, and from there to Abu Dhabi.

We will have to cross 12 time zones and cover more than 12,000 km, so three very busy and tiring weeks lie ahead, and everyone working at the track and at the team’s base in Woking will feel it. I would like to thank all McLaren staff for their dedication and incredible determination.

The first of these three races will take place in Las Vegas, which has a special atmosphere and very attractive urban scenery. This Grand Prix can be seen as a kind of symbol of modern Formula 1, as the popularity of our sport is growing and races in the US are enjoying unprecedented success.

From a technical point of view we face a tough race, as we haven’t shone there in the past two years. In São Paulo we once again saw how sharp the on-track rivalry can be, since the margins are always measured in thousandths of a second. Therefore it has become even more important to prepare for every session with the utmost care, and any detail can determine whether we are able to fully unlock the car’s potential.

We arrived in Nevada in good spirits, understanding that we are still a long way from the goal we set ourselves, and that we will have to deal with very strong rivals.”
