Bottas became the host of a wedding ceremony in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas has a particular reputation; the city is famous for many things, but it's also regarded as one of the wedding capitals of the world, and they say getting married there will be cheaper than in Venice, though perhaps not as romantic.

But Venice doesn't have its own Formula 1 race, and you're unlikely to run into Valtteri Bottas there and persuade him to be the master of ceremonies at a wedding. Yet that's exactly what Amanda and Eduardo managed to do, and Mercedes' reserve driver handled the unusual role perfectly — you can see this by watching the short but very interesting and fun video the team shared on social media.

It has everything you'd expect: a smartly dressed and beautiful bride and groom, flowers, music and pink decor, one element of which was the Formula 1 logo. But its main star, who perhaps outshone the newlyweds, was of course Valtteri.

"Amanda and Eduardo, we have gathered here to celebrate something wonderful!" he announced solemnly, after which he recounted that this love story began in 2018 at a music festival in Texas, where their first meeting took place and became the start of the couple's relationship. "I can even feel the love that binds them, so you're doing everything right. I heard that you've been trying to get married for five years, but faced difficulties. But now you've found me! And I'm here to ask you the question: are you ready to spend the rest of your lives together, to love one another, to care for each other?"

Of course, Amanda and Eduardo answered in the affirmative, though they couldn't help laughing, and this was followed by the traditional kiss. Naturally, such an event will indeed be remembered for a long time, if not for life.

By the way, we've already reported on weddings in Las Vegas: in 2023 Jacques Villeneuve became the first driver to get married directly in the paddock of the then brand-new street circuit.

Yuki Tsunoda acknowledges feeling anxious about his future in Formula 1 as Red Bull continues to postpone their decision regarding drivers for 2026, yet he claims he has no regrets about taking the seat that ultimately concluded Sergio Perez’s tenure with the team. Upon arriving in Las Vegas, the Japanese driver expressed his awareness of the intense pressure he faces. "If I say I’m not nervous, that would be untrue," he stated. Red Bull has not yet clarified whether he will remain with the organization next year.

In a separate conversation with Belgian broadcaster RTBF, Tsunoda remarked that the uncertainty is beyond his control. "As far as I know, a decision hasn’t been reached yet. I must give it my all—that’s the only aspect I can influence. I’m not considering 2026 right now; I'm leaving that to my agent and the team. I’m here to race. My performance will assist Red Bull in making a decision. I believe I’m progressing positively if you assess the last few races."

Tsunoda moved up to Red Bull after Daniel Ricciardo was sidelined and Perez was let go for not keeping up with Max Verstappen, making 2025 the most challenging season of the 24-year-old’s career. "This has been the hardest year of my life," he confessed. "Racing alongside one of the top drivers on the grid and being part of a leading team offers a completely different experience. Previously, I was a team leader, engaged in the car's development. Now I find myself in a new role—I have much to learn, and my teammate is vying for the title, so I need to support the team."

Despite the pressure and the potential career risks of being unfavorably compared to Verstappen, Tsunoda insists that he would make the same decision again.
