Derek Warwick — the third steward at the Qatar Grand Prix
Former Formula 1 driver and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Derek Warwick has been invited by the FIA to serve as the third steward at the Qatar Grand Prix.
Joining him to review contentious incidents will be FIA World Council member Harry Connelly and Belgian steward for Formula 1, Formula 3 and touring car series Loik Baklen.
In 2025 the guest stewards were: Enrique Bernoldi in Australia, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Azerbaijan and Austin; Pedro Lamy in China, Japan, the Netherlands, Mexico City and São Paulo; Vittantonio Liuzzi in Bahrain, Imola, Monaco, Barcelona, Silverstone, Spa and Las Vegas; and Derek Warwick in Miami, Austria, Hungary, Italy and Singapore.
