Alpine would like to finish the season with a good result.

The round in Abu Dhabi will be memorable in its own way for the Alpine team — the last for Renault power units in Formula 1… and in last place in the Constructors' Championship…

Steve Nielsen, Executive Director of Alpine F1: "We have mixed feelings. 2025 was difficult for us, but I am impressed by how the team responded to that challenge.

We are heading to Abu Dhabi after the race weekend in Qatar, where we were able to turn things around from Friday to Saturday. Our position in the Constructors' Championship will not change now, but our staff at the bases in France and the UK, as well as at the track, are still working at full capacity.

This race weekend is important for many reasons, not least because it is our last race with the power unit produced in Viry. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who took part in that programme."

Pierre Gasly: "The Grand Prix in Qatar ended much the same as the weekend in Vegas — we had a good qualifying but scored no points in the race because of an incident. But last weekend we made a serious step forward, revealed the car's potential and reached the final part of qualifying for the tenth time this season.

During first practice in Abu Dhabi I will be observing from the pit box, and I will return to the track for the evening session. We've performed fairly well at Yas Marina before, especially last season, and we want to finish the season with a good result."

Franco Colapinto: "The weekend in Qatar taught us a lot. We saw that the car is fast, although showing that pace wasn't easy — I made quite a few mistakes, but I learned from them and I'm ready to keep going. In Abu Dhabi the conditions will be similar; this time I will try to realise our potential.

I have raced at the Yas Marina Circuit several times in Formula 1 and in junior series. It's an interesting track that offers overtaking opportunities. As the finale approaches I feel enormous gratitude to the team and to everyone who has done incredible work this season, both at the track and at our bases. Let's finish this year together with a good result."
