Owners of Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, FIAT, and Maserati battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) in North America now enjoy increased charging flexibility, thanks to extended access to over 27,500 Tesla Supercharger stations. Beginning today, Stellantis BEV customers can utilize Tesla V3 and V4 Superchargers with a Free2move Charge North American Charging System (NACS)-CCS1 DC adapter.

If you've recently purchased a new Stellantis electric vehicle in the last year and a half, you might be feeling disheartened by recent news. Indeed, there hasn't been much positive coverage regarding electrification from the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram side of the industry.

To summarize: Ram EV? Canceled. Base Charger Daytona R/T? Canceled. High-end Charger Daytona Banshee? Canceled. Virtually any EV that hasn't already been released is likely scrapped—and at a significant cost. Also, for good measure, their plug-in hybrids are also discontinued. However, if you are one of those who managed to obtain one of the now-discontinued EVs, there is a small piece of good news: You can now charge it at a Tesla Supercharger, assuming you're ready to invest in the required equipment.

Beginning today, Stellantis BEV customers can access Tesla V3 and V4 Superchargers using a Free2move Charge North American Charging System (NACS)-CCS1 DC adapter, which can be purchased at Stellantis low-emission vehicle (LEV) certified dealerships and on Mopar.com, according to the company's announcement. “Customers can also access a Tesla ‘Magic Dock’ Supercharger, which includes a built-in adapter. Only Stellantis-approved NACS adapters are compatible with a Tesla Supercharger.”

The following vehicles and model years are eligible:

      - Dodge Charger Daytona (2024-2026)

      - Jeep Wagoneer S (2024-2025)

      - Jeep Recon (2026)

      - Ram ProMaster EV (2024-2026)

      - FIAT 500e (2024-2026)

      - Maserati GranTurismo Folgore (2024-2026)

      - Maserati GranCabrio Folgore (2024-2026)

      - Maserati Grecale Folgore (2025-2026)

This will undoubtedly enhance the convenience for those who have made the investment in these vehicles. Here’s hoping they don’t have to gaze at a Cybertruck while charging—it might not be worth it.
