Ayo Komatsu: Our goal is points with two cars.

At Haas F1, points were earned in the first two races and they hope to build on that success in Suzuka, where they will use a unique car livery as part of their collaboration with the Japanese studio TOHO, which produced the Godzilla film series...

Ayo Komatsu, team principal: "For us, the Japanese Grand Prix is one of our home races. This year we will hold it with our title partner – TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, so it has special significance. We want to build on the success we achieved in the first two races.

The Suzuka stage will be a new test for our car, but we are glad that we were able to adapt on the two previous and very different tracks, getting the most out of the car and drivers. Our goal in Suzuka is to earn points with both cars.

I am excited to meet the Japanese fans, to whom we will show the new Godzilla-themed car livery. This is the first collaboration of its kind, and it is very interesting as it characterizes our team. I hope the fans will like the livery."

Oliver Berman: "Another home race for TGR Haas F1 will take place in Japan, where we will feature a unique livery for the second consecutive year. I believe that only Haas F1 would dare to come up with the idea of Godzilla; we do everything our way, and that’s really great.

Suzuka is one of the best tracks in the world. It is fast, smooth, and requires precise driving. Our VF-26 has shown its stability in the first races of this season – and we want to build on that success at the Japanese stage."

Esteban Ocon: "I am very happy to return to Japan and race in Suzuka this weekend. The fans there are amazing, and for me, Suzuka is the best track on the calendar.

The fast and smooth first sector is the best combination of corners in the world. This is an old-school track where I have had good results in the past – and I look forward to the new meeting.

There will be many of our fans there. We will celebrate this visit with a partnership with Godzilla and the corresponding livery, hoping for steady progress throughout the weekend and a solid number of points on race day."
