Zak Brown: We are focused on fighting Ferrari.

      Zak Brown stated before the start of the Japanese Grand Prix that he believes in his team and hopes that technical problems will not prevent McLaren from at least competing with Ferrari today, as it is unlikely they will catch up with Mercedes.

      "Ferrari starts very well, but we also start decently," said the executive director of McLaren Racing. "I believe the first few laps will be very interesting, and we are set to compete with Ferrari. However, Mercedes is too fast for all of us, and it's unlikely we will catch up with them.       Lando Norris is doing an excellent job considering all the difficulties he has faced with his car since the beginning of the weekend, and Oscar Piastri is doing great as well, but that's not unusual.
