Cadillac is preparing technical innovations for the Miami Grand Prix.

After the Japanese Grand Prix, Valtteri Bottas complained that his car is not performing as well as his teammate Sergio Perez's car. Valtteri's words were confirmed by the Mexican driver, who added that Cadillac is preparing updates for the Miami race.

Sergio Perez: "It is obvious that we need a second car at the same level. I really hope that the major updates we are preparing for Miami will help us. The next race will be the most serious test for the team.

I believe we are making progress at every Grand Prix. The race in Suzuka was the first where everything went more or less smoothly, except for the issues in qualifying with energy usage. I really hope we can take the next step and get involved in the battle with the midfield teams.

The car is not good enough in many areas, but the main drawback is the downforce. It is in this component that we are lagging the most. The balance itself is not that bad, but we simply lack grip on the track."
