The ruling prince of Monaco, Albert II, declared Charles Leclerc as a "Goodwill Ambassador" at an official ceremony at the Hotel de Paris.
Charles has become a member of the Monaco Ambassadors Club – an organization founded in 1973 at the initiative of Princess Grace, which annually honors individuals whose careers and achievements contribute to strengthening the international reputation of the principality.
The relationship between Charles Leclerc and the princely family goes beyond protocol. At the age of 12, the young Monegasque visited the Princely Palace with his father to seek support at the beginning of his karting journey. Since then, Albert II has been following Charles's career.
