Berman: It could have been much worse.

Just under three weeks ago, Oliver Berman was involved in an unpleasant accident, flying off during the race in Suzuka at the Spoon corner. The FIA sensor recorded a maximum overload of 50g, the Haas F1 driver was noticeably limping, but doctors found no fractures and he went home. The day after the race, fans filmed a video where Oliver was getting on a train and was also limping. In an interview with Sportbible, he talked about how he feels now. Oliver Berman: "Thank you for the question, everything is fine now. It was not easy to return home; after the accident, I could hardly move. My knee was swollen and painful, but now everything is okay. Fortunately, it's my right knee, so I'm fine. By Wednesday or Thursday, I was back behind the wheel on the simulator – my brother and I were preparing for the endurance race. It could have been much worse. So I am very, very grateful for the support and I look forward to returning to Miami."
