The racers discussed the changes in the regulations with the FIA.
Formula 1 drivers held an online meeting with the FIA and championship representatives, during which upcoming changes to the technical regulations were discussed. According to GPBlog, the meeting took place on Monday. In addition to GPDA chairman George Russell, Max Verstappen participated, who has been the most vocal critic of the 2026 regulations. Specific issues discussed at the meeting have not been disclosed, but it is presumed that the drivers reiterated all their concerns. According to journalists, the meeting took place in a "positive atmosphere and was productive and constructive." Now it remains to be seen which of the drivers' proposals will be included in the final adjustments that the teams, FIA, and Formula 1 will discuss at the meeting on April 20. It is planned that some amendments will come into effect at the next stage in Miami in early May.
