Red Bull Racing is strengthening its technical department.
The Red Bull Racing team announced a series of organizational changes aimed at increasing the efficiency of the technical department. This involves expanding the responsibilities of Ben Waterhouse, the chief designer, who will now be responsible for the entire range of tasks related to chassis development. He will report directly to Pierre Waché, the team's technical director. Waterhouse joined Red Bull from Sauber in 2014, initially working at Toro Rosso as deputy technical director, before taking on the role of chief engineer for performance at Red Bull Racing in 2017. Additionally, starting July 1, Andrea Landi will begin work as the performance director and will report to Ben Waterhouse. Landi is an experienced specialist, having previously worked at Ferrari before moving to Racing Bulls, where he served as deputy technical director. As stated in the Red Bull Racing press release, "his knowledge and experience will contribute to further strengthening the team's ability to compete for top results." Red Bull emphasizes that these changes reflect a commitment to developing the talents of their employees, while also continuing efforts to attract specialists from other teams.
