Max Verstappen liked the new Formula E car.

      On Tuesday at the Paul Ricard circuit, the new generation of Formula E car GEN4 was unveiled, which is significantly faster than its predecessor. This year, the electric racing series has been a hot topic in Formula 1, mainly thanks to Max Verstappen, who referred to the new Formula 1 cars as "Formula E on steroids."

      António Félix da Costa, who competes in Formula E for the Jaguar team, shared that right after the GEN4 presentation, Max Verstappen expressed his opinion about the new model.

      "It's no secret that the previous generation GEN3 car wasn't very popular at its debut," says da Costa. "But the new car, on which we are placing all our bets, makes a really good first impression.

      I have a cool story about this. When GEN3 was first introduced, one of the first messages I received was from Max Verstappen. He wrote to me: 'I'm not sure about this car.' And yesterday, when we showcased GEN4, one of the first messages I got was also from Max. And he wrote: 'This is cool!'

      So if the guys from Formula 1 confirm that we have a great car, then that's really awesome for our series."
